On December 13 last year, Tesla recalled more than 2.03 million vehicles in the United States, involving 2012-2023 Model S, 2016-2023 Model X, 2017-2023 Model 3 and 2020-2023 Model Y, because its FSD Beta fully autonomous driving software may not be able to ensure that the driver remains attentive when the system starts autonomous driving, posing a safety hazard. At that time, the official said that the problem would be solved through OTA in the future.
