Tata Group plans to invest $1.58 billion to build a lithium battery factory in India

Tata Group has signed a preliminary agreement to build a lithium battery factory, intending to invest approximately US$1.58 billion to build the country's first lithium battery super factory in Gujarat, India. The factory's initial design capacity is 20GWh/year, which can support 400,000 new energy vehicles, and may reach 40GWh/year after later expansion.
