BorgWarner adjusts electrification strategy and restructures corporate structure

In the face of rapid changes in the electrification market, BorgWarner has adjusted its electrification strategy. The company renamed its original air management division to the exhaust system, turbocharging and thermal management division, which is headed by Dr. Volker Weng. At the same time, the company also split the transmission system and battery system divisions into two, which are respectively headed by Isabelle McKenzie and Henk Vanthournout. This move is aimed at better showing shareholders the development and profitability of the electrification business.
