Tesla Roadster takes over from Model S Plaid Plus

Recently, Musk confirmed on social media that the upcoming Roadster will fill the gap left by the Model S Plaid Plus. Tesla once planned to launch a Plaid Plus model that was even crazier than the Model S Plaid, but later canceled the plan. The positioning of the Roadster also means that the Model S Plaid will become the performance ceiling among Tesla sedans. According to Musk's official spoilers, the upcoming Tesla Roadster will offer performance that exceeds the Rimac Nevera at a lower price, and will be officially unveiled and produced in small batches in 2025. Musk said that the acceleration performance of the Roadster will be even more amazing than originally announced because Tesla "significantly raised the design goals." Tesla originally claimed that the Roadster's zero-to-hundred-kilometer acceleration could be controlled within 1 second, with a top speed of 400 kilometers per hour.
