Tesla Shanghai Energy Storage Super Factory went into production, and the first ultra-large commercial electrochemical energy storage system Megapack was successfully launched

On February 11, Tesla held a commissioning ceremony at its energy storage super factory in Lingang, Shanghai, and the first ultra-large commercial electrochemical energy storage system Megapack was successfully rolled off the production line. This marks a new stage for Tesla's business in the Chinese market. The factory is Tesla's first energy storage super factory project outside the United States. Since the construction started on May 23, 2024, it took only 9 months from land acquisition to the first product rolling off the production line, once again refreshing the "Tesla speed".
