Singular Photonics Launches Next-Generation SPAD Image Sensor

British startup Singular Photonics has launched a new generation of image sensors based on single-photon avalanche diodes (SPADs). This new sensor has achieved a major breakthrough in in-pixel and cross-pixel storage and computing, which can extract more valuable information at the lowest light levels.
