OpenAI is developing its first generation of internal artificial intelligence (AI) chips, aiming to reduce its reliance on Nvidia chip supply. According to sources, ChatGPT's manufacturer will complete the design of its first internal chip in the coming months and plans to send it to TSMC for production.
