Lam Research, a major US semiconductor equipment company, announces second quarter financial results

On July 31, Lam Research, a US semiconductor equipment manufacturer, released its second quarter financial report ending June 30, 2024. The report showed that the company's revenue reached US$3.872 billion, a year-on-year increase of 20.6% and a month-on-month increase of 21%. According to US generally accepted accounting principles, its gross profit was US$1.84 billion, gross profit margin was 47.5%, operating expenses were US$714 million, operating income accounted for 29.1% of revenue, and net profit was US$1.02 billion, or US$7.78 per diluted share.
