BMW Group releases first half 2024 financial report, with global sales slightly down

The BMW Group recently released its financial report for the first half of 2024. The report shows that although the total revenue of its automotive business was basically the same as the same period last year, reaching 63.009 billion euros, its pre-tax profit fell by 14.2% from the same period last year to 8.023 billion euros. In terms of sales, the BMW Group delivered a total of 1.213 million new vehicles (including BMW, MINI, and Rolls-Royce brands) worldwide in the first half of this year, a year-on-year decline of 0.1%. Among them, the BMW brand sold 1.096 million vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 2.3%, while the Rolls-Royce and MINI brands fell by 11.4% and 18.8% respectively.
