Musk's offer to buy OpenAI's nonprofit assets was rejected

According to reports, Elon Musk and his group of investors have made a $97.4 billion offer to acquire all of OpenAI's non-profit assets. However, OpenAI's CEO and co-founder Sam Altman and his board of directors rejected the offer, arguing that the company's governance structure does not allow for outside control.
