On February 11, 2025, Baidu founder Robin Li stated at the World Governments Summit 2025 held in Dubai, UAE that autonomous driving technology is ten times safer than human driving. He pointed out that the actual records of Baidu's autonomous driving service "LuoBoKuaiPao" showed that its accident rate was only 1/14 of that of human drivers. Li Yanhong emphasized that technological advancement is very rapid and autonomous driving has significant advantages in terms of safety.
