Continental is considering splitting its automotive sub-group into two independent companies to increase flexibility and autonomous decision-making capabilities. The plan is expected to be completed by the end of 2025. The automotive sub-group achieved sales of approximately 20.3 billion euros in the past year, has approximately 100,000 employees, and has achieved a strong market position in innovative braking and comfort systems, sensor solutions and displays. At the same time, Continental's tire and ContiTech sub-groups will continue to remain within the group. The two sub-groups achieved sales of approximately 20.8 billion euros in the past year.
