Baidu Maps officially launched the new generation of digital twin map DuEarth on July 30, 2024, with three highlights of "better use, smarter, and more vivid". Liu Zenggang, deputy general manager of Baidu Maps, said that DuEarth has covered 360 cities and 3.6 million kilometers of roads across the country, becoming China's largest vehicle-road-cloud digital base. Baidu Maps has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Oriental Spaceport (Shandong) Group and others, and plans to use its own advantages to continuously iterate the capabilities of the digital twin map engine to provide more efficient and accurate solutions for the intelligent upgrade of various industries.
