Cadence Design Systems acquires Invecas and BETA CAE Systems

On January 9, 2024, Cadence announced that it had successfully acquired Invecas, Inc., a leading provider of design engineering, embedded software and system-level solutions headquartered in Santa Clara, California. This transaction enabled Cadence to acquire a highly skilled design engineering team. Then, on March 5, 2024, Cadence announced the acquisition of BETA CAE Systems, which produces software for analyzing automotive and jet design, for $1.24 billion in cash and stock (of which $744 million was cash).
