IMI responds to market downturn and adjusts global business layout

IMI, a contract electronics manufacturer that supplies equipment to the electric vehicle and medical industries, is reshuffling its global footprint in the face of a downturn in key markets. Last year, the company decided to close its offices in Japan and Malaysia and scale back operations in Singapore because of high interest rates and excessive inventory levels.
