Shanghai Xiba releases the design progress of high energy density solid-state battery

Shanghai Xiba (603200) announced that it has successfully completed the design of high-energy-density solid-state battery soft-pack lithium-ion batteries and started small-scale production. The energy density of this battery reaches or exceeds 320Wh/kg and is expected to be first used in eVTOL scenarios. Although the final result requires third-party certification, the preliminary design shows that the battery has a 1C charge and discharge cycle life of more than 1,000 times, and the 50% SOC peak discharge power exceeds 2.5KW/kg, supporting 5C high-rate discharge.
