China Tailan New Energy announced a major breakthrough in all-solid-state batteries, developing an ultra-high energy density all-solid-state lithium metal battery with a single cell capacity of 120Ah and a measured energy density of 720Wh/kg, setting a new industry record. This battery uses a number of key technological breakthroughs, including ultra-thin and dense composite oxide solid electrolytes, high-capacity advanced positive and negative electrode materials, etc., which solves the interface impedance problem of solid-state batteries.
