Mercedes-Benz financial performance in the second quarter of 2024

In the second quarter of 2024, Mercedes-Benz's sales were 36.74 billion euros, down 3.9% year-on-year; EBIT was 4.04 billion euros, down 19% year-on-year; and net profit was 3.06 billion euros, down 16% year-on-year. Despite the decline in financial performance, the company's electrification strategy is expected to further consolidate its leadership in the luxury car market.
