Continental considers spin-off of its automotive division

According to official news from Continental, the company is considering spinning off its automotive business unit and listing it on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. This move is aimed at fully tapping Continental's potential for value creation and business growth. It is expected that the Executive Board will make a decision on this split plan before the end of 2024. If approved, the split plan will be completed by the end of 2025. The automotive division includes businesses such as autonomous driving, automotive software, and automotive parts, with sales of approximately 20.3 billion euros last year.
