Knorr-Bremse sells its subsidiary GT Emissions Systems

Knorr-Bremse has decided to divest its subsidiary GT Emissions Systems. The transaction is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of this year. GT Emissions Systems is a company based in Peterlee, UK, which mainly provides diesel engine emission control systems for on-road commercial vehicles and off-road vehicles. Knorr-Bremse CEO Marc Llistosella announced last year that he would take the global market leader to sales of 8 billion to 9 billion euros and an operating return on sales of more than 14% by 2026. His goal also includes selling parts of the company's business, which have sales of up to 1.4 billion euros.
