Powertech Semiconductor Packaging and Testing Plant Invests 5 Billion Yen in Kumamoto Prefecture, Kyushu, Japan

According to Taiwan media Technews, Powertech Semiconductor Packaging and Testing Factory recently announced that its Japanese subsidiary Tera Probe will invest 5 billion yen (about 240 million yuan) in Kumamoto Prefecture, Kyushu, Japan to expand semiconductor testing and measurement production. This investment is in response to the local government's policy of expanding the semiconductor industry in Kumamoto, and it can also enjoy the preferential measures of the Kumamoto government.
