Major automakers are racing to adopt 800V high-voltage platforms to meet fast charging needs

With the growing demand for fast charging among consumers, many automakers and battery companies have begun to promote their 800V high-voltage battery solutions. These include Zeekr's 800V gold brick battery, Zhiji L6's voltage close to 900V, Honeycomb Energy's 800V short knife battery, and GAC Aion's 900V high-voltage platform. These high-voltage battery solutions are gradually being applied to various models, including brands such as Avita, BYD, GAC Aion, Xiaopeng, Zhiji, Xiaomi, Zeekr, and Wenjie. Although 800V high-voltage batteries are widely promoted, most models equipped with this battery are still unable to achieve ultra-fast charging.
