Volkswagen plans to expand Chattanooga plant, introduce new technology

VW has already pledged to invest about $20 billion in North America, including $10 billion in its Chattanooga plant, $5 billion in a joint venture with electric car maker Rivian and $5 billion in its Scout unit. Antlitz said VW plans to introduce range extenders to more models to attract consumers who are hesitant about electric vehicle products.
