Bailixin Semiconductor (Zhejiang) Co., Ltd. announced that its 6-inch MEMS wafer manufacturing line project has been approved and is scheduled to start in 2024 and be completed in 2026. The total investment of the project is 1.3 billion yuan, with an investment of 600 million yuan in the first phase, including 450 million yuan in fixed assets and a leased plant of about 10,000 square meters, mainly producing MEMS chips, e-cigarette chips and vehicle-mounted sensor chips. The second phase will invest 700 million yuan, including 600 million yuan in fixed assets, with a planned land area of ​​about 50 acres, mainly producing MEMS wafers.
