BMW, Genesis, and SAIC-GM-Wuling Baojun recall some models

BMW, Genesis, and SAIC-GM-Wuling Baojun have also recalled their vehicles. Among them, Genesis recalled 542 imported Genesis pure electric GV60, G80, and GV70 vehicles produced between August 11, 2021 and July 10, 2024. The reason for the recall is that the vehicles cannot charge the 12V battery. Hyundai Motor's recall includes Jiale, Kaizun, Sorento, Kia K9, Speedmaster, and Borei. The reason for the recall is that a short circuit may occur inside the hydraulic electronic control unit (HECU), which can cause a fire in the engine compartment in extreme cases. Baojun recalled 1,116 Baojun Yueye vehicles because the EBS system could not communicate normally and the brake assist failed.
