Top Group established a robotics division in 2023 and announced in January 2024 that it would invest 5 billion yuan to build a robot electric drive system production base. According to its 2024 semi-annual report, Top Group has signed an investment agreement with the Ningbo Economic and Technological Development Zone Management Committee on the robot electric drive system R&D and production base project. The project is expected to cover an area of ​​300 acres and is still underway.
