SiC wafer suppliers actively expand production capacity

Faced with the growing demand for SiC wafers, new and existing SiC wafer suppliers are actively expanding their production capacity. It is expected that by 2027, the production capacity of 150mm SiC wafer equivalent will increase from 2.8 million pieces in 2023 to 10.9 million pieces, an increase of more than three times.
