Samsung SDI and SK On also target the square battery market and accelerate their layout

In addition to LG Energy Solution, other Korean battery suppliers have also noticed the sharp increase in demand for square batteries from automakers. Samsung SDI and SK On are also stepping up efforts to produce square batteries. SK On has developed its own square battery technology and is actively discussing the production of square batteries with potential customers while preparing for mass production.
