Nissan Motor has recently made major adjustments to its electric vehicle business. The production of electric vehicles, which was originally scheduled to start this year at the Canton plant in Ohio, has now been postponed to 2028. At the same time, the company canceled plans to produce a small electric SUV similar to the Rogue Sport in the United States and moved the production task to the Sunderland plant in the UK. A Nissan spokesman said in a statement that the company will focus on other projects with greater market potential at the Canton plant.
