Valeo Germany CEO calls for new rules to support supplier industry

Valeo Germany CEO Holger Schwab asked politicians to set new rules to ensure the European supplier industry is supported. He suggested rules that would stipulate that manufacturers keep at least part of the value created in Europe. Schwab said that since an average of 75% of a car's parts come from suppliers, such rules would help strengthen the transformation of the domestic supplier industry.
