BYD performed strongly in the Indonesian market, accounting for 36% of the market share

According to data from the Automobile Association, BYD's sales in Indonesia in 2024 have reached 15,429 units. Based on data from January to November, BYD is in the lead in electric vehicle sales with a market share of about 36%. Zhao Ying said that the first batch of cars are expected to be produced soon after the completion of the new factory. Currently, BYD has launched four models in the Indonesian market, including the Seal sedan, Atto 3 SUV, Dolphin hatchback and M6 seven-seater MPV.
