GAC Toyota and FAW Toyota introduced Alphard and Vellfire

In 2010, GAC Toyota introduced Alphard to China for sale and named it "Elfa" in Chinese. In 2015, the third-generation Alphard and Vellfire were launched, with a more exaggerated overall design and more exterior styles for consumers to choose from. In 2019, FAW Toyota introduced Vellfire to the domestic market for sale and named it "Vellfire". In 2021, Vellfire was incorporated into the Crown brand, using the Crown's exclusive logo and renamed "Crown Vellfire", becoming a member of the Crown brand.
