The price of domestic 6-inch silicon carbide substrates fell below 3,000 yuan

I recently discussed the price of silicon carbide modules with friends in the industry, and the results were unexpected. At present, the price of a 6-inch silicon carbide substrate is about 3,000 yuan, the price of a 6-inch silicon carbide epitaxial is 7,000 yuan, and the prices of a 4-parallel HPD power module, a 6-parallel HPD power module, and an 8-parallel HPD power module are 2,000 yuan, 2,500 yuan, and more than 3,000 yuan, respectively. This price surprised me very much, because I had only heard that the price of silicon carbide was falling this year, but I didn't expect it to have fallen to the range of 2,500-3,000 yuan. Now it seems that there are products in the industry that are priced below 2,000 yuan. Based on the current trend, it is expected that the price of silicon carbide chips may continue to fall next year, and it may even fall by one-third. If this is true, then the price of an 8-parallel silicon carbide module next year is expected to drop to around 2,000 yuan.
