Dacia appoints former Toyota France head as new vice president

Dacia has appointed Frank Marotte, formerly head of Toyota France, as its new vice president, who will be responsible for sales, marketing and operations from February 1 this year. Marotte will succeed Xavier Martinet, who left Dacia in November last year to join Hyundai Motor as CEO of its European subsidiary. Marotte, a graduate of the Ecole Centrale in Paris, began his career at carmaker Peugeot in 1993 in management positions in France and other countries.
