BYD may win 2.4GWh energy storage order

BYD may win a 2.4GWh energy storage order from UK energy company Statera Energ. Statera Energ has received planning permission for a 400MW/2400MWh battery energy storage system (BESS) near Chickerell, Dorset. Although Statera Energ has not yet announced the supplier of the energy storage system, planning documents indicate that they plan to use BYD's MC Cube energy storage system.
