Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton announced on the 13th that General Motors was sued for installing technology that collects driver data on more than 14 million vehicles and selling the data to insurance companies and other companies without the driver's consent. The lawsuit stems from an investigation into several automakers in June this year to investigate whether they collected and sold large amounts of data without informing drivers.
