Due to the pressure from competing models from Toyota Motor, Nissan plans to stop producing commercial trucks "AD" at its Shonan plant in Hiratsuka City, Kanagawa Prefecture by November this year. The plant has a production capacity of 150,000 vehicles per year and currently produces two models, the "AD" and the "NV200". Regarding the "NV200", Nissan is also considering reducing production.
