Mercedes gradually bids farewell to EQ sub-brand

Last year, Mercedes began to phase out its electric sub-brand EQ. The first candidate is the electric G-Class, now called the G580, which uses EQ technology instead of EQG. The CLA and its MMA offshoot, the CLA Shooting Brake, as well as the GLA and GLB, which are expected to debut in 2026, will also be equipped with this technology.
