Wuling Motors Holdings and ASTRI join hands to enter XR field

Guangxi Automobile Group's listed company Wuling Automobile Holdings and the Hong Kong Applied Science and Technology Research Institute (ASTRI) launched the XR smart project cooperation on August 15. The two parties will carry out talent training, technology research and development, intelligent networking and other cooperation in the field of extended reality (XR), and explore cooperation in intelligent driving, business incubation and social services. Zhang Weilun, Chief Director of the Artificial Intelligence and Trusted Technology Department of ASTRI, said that this cooperation aims to promote the application of extended reality and metaverse in vocational education and improve the quality and efficiency of vocational education.
