TSMC receives $1.5 billion in subsidies from the US government

TSMC recently stated in an interview with the US media CNBC that TSMC has received a subsidy of US$1.5 billion from the US government in the fourth quarter of 2024. Huang Renzhao believes that the newly-elected Trump administration will continue to provide the finalized subsidy funds for TSMC's investment plans in the United States.
