The German Chamber of Commerce and Industry predicts that 44% of German auto companies will face deteriorating operating conditions in 2025. Shortage of funds, high costs and thin profits make it difficult for many companies to cope with the transformation to electrification. Even industry giants are not immune. This year, Robert Bosch plans to cut 12,000 jobs, including more than 7,000 jobs in Germany, mainly in the automotive supply sector.
