BorgWarner accelerates its deployment in the field of electrification

BorgWarner is accelerating its layout in the field of electrification, and the capacity expansion of its electric drive systems is mainly concentrated in the following regions: Tianjin, China, Hungary and Mexico. In Tianjin, the BorgWarner plant has added an electric drive system production line, mainly serving Chinese local new energy vehicle companies, with an annual production capacity of more than 500,000 sets. In Hungary, BorgWarner announced the expansion of the factory, focusing on the production of 800V high-voltage electric drive systems to support the electrification transformation of European automakers. In Mexico, BorgWarner plans to start construction of a new factory in early 2024 to provide integrated electric drive modules for the North American market, which is expected to be put into production in 2025.
