BorgWarner strengthens power module production line layout

BorgWarner has strengthened its power electronics technology through the acquisition of Delphi and joint ventures, and its power module production line focuses on SiC technology. In Suzhou, China, BorgWarner has cooperated with the Suzhou government to establish a silicon carbide power module R&D center with supporting localized production lines, with the goal of mass production by the end of 2024, and an annual production capacity of 300,000 sets. In North Carolina, USA, BorgWarner invested US$230 million to expand the SiC module production line, focusing on supplying local American electric vehicle companies.
