The technical specification verification test of the intelligent connected vehicle safety warning system was successfully held in Yancheng

The China Automotive Standardization Institute conducted a standard verification test for the "Technical Specifications for Safety Warning Systems Based on Direct Communication Technology for Intelligent Connected Vehicles" in Yancheng City from August 5 to 9, 2024. The test vehicles were provided by Xiamen Jinlong United Automotive Industry Co., Ltd., Mercedes-Benz (China) Investment Co., Ltd., and Volkswagen CARIAD, and the roadside basic units (RSUs) were provided by CITIC Technology and Beijing Xingyun Interconnect Technology Co., Ltd. The test team was composed of experts from China Automotive Research Institute Automotive Inspection Center (Tianjin) Co., Ltd. They strictly followed the requirements of the draft national standard and verified three functions: intersection collision warning, vehicle safety status reminder, and roadside information reminder.
