Toyota Motor (China) Investment Co., Ltd. recalls some imported vehicles

Toyota Motor (China) Investment Co., Ltd. announced that it will recall some imported Lexus RX, NX, UX vehicles and Toyota Alpha vehicles starting from February 28, 2025. The reason is that during the manufacturing process of the low-pressure fuel pump impeller of these vehicles, the resin molding conditions are imperfect, resulting in insufficient impeller resin density, which may cause the vehicle to fail to start normally or the engine to stall during driving. Toyota will replace the improved low-pressure fuel pump for these vehicles free of charge. In addition, the fixing structure strength of the engine hood trim of Toyota Alpha vehicles is insufficient, and the trim may fall off accidentally, affecting other road users and posing a safety hazard. Toyota will replace the improved engine hood trim for these vehicles free of charge.
