GM reaffirms long-term commitment to China business

In response to rumors that GM will make major adjustments to its China business, GM has made it clear that its partnership with SAIC and its commitment to promoting the long-term development of the joint venture have not changed. GM's chief financial officer said at an investor conference: "The China business is a high-quality asset for us now and in the future."
