The departure of Christoph Kuttner, senior director of automotive engineering at Canoo, marks the departure of all nine founders of Canoo, and the company's operations have almost come to a standstill. Canoo is an American electric vehicle startup founded in 2017 by Stefan Kraus and Ulrich Kranz, both of whom have backgrounds in BMW and Faraday Future. Based on the skateboard chassis design, Canoo has launched four series of models, including the first electric MPV in 2019, a pickup truck, a sedan and a van LDV.
