MediaTek's automotive customers mainly include Changan Automobile, Geely Automobile, SAIC Maxus, Dongfeng Motor, SAIC-GM-Wuling, Ecarx, Didi Chuxing and SF Express. MediaTek has a particularly strong partner, Shenzhen Zhangrui. Zhangrui assisted Geely E01 (MT8665) platform, with two shifts of research and development, and the project was completed within half a year from KO to mass production; it also assisted Changan iCAR platform, and the new platform project was completed within one year from KO to mass production. At present, MediaTek mainly promotes MT8666 and MT8675. MT8666 is a 12-nanometer chip that integrates 4G, three-mode navigation, WiFi, BT, four-screen different display and touch, and dual-screen interaction. It is a highly integrated chip. In terms of software, the development of Android's underlying BSP has also been completed, integrating 720P and AVM algorithms. In terms of AI, DMS, ADAS, and IMS have all been integrated. Changan Automobile and Geely Automobile use MT8666 in large quantities. MT8675 is manufactured by TSMC, a 7nm chip, 4 cores A76 plus 4 cores A55, built-in 5G Modem, and extremely cost-effective. Unlike other SoCs, MT8675 is an MCM module that contains GPS and WLAN. MediaTek will launch two 4nm process automotive chips in 2023, which will also be the world's first 4nm automotive chips. The high-end model is MT8676 and the low-end model is MT8673.
