The History and Achievements of Sinotruk

Sinotruk, formerly known as the Jinan Automobile Manufacturing Plant, was founded in 1930 and is known as the cradle of my country's heavy-duty automobile industry. In 1960, Sinotruk produced China's first heavy-duty automobile - the Yellow River brand JN150 eight-ton truck, ending China's history of not being able to produce heavy-duty automobiles. In 2007, Sinotruk successfully achieved a red chip listing on the main board of Hong Kong, becoming the first listed red chip stock in my country's manufacturing industry, and initially built a platform for international development. In 2004, Sinotruk's independently developed new generation of heavy-duty trucks, the HOWO brand, was born and launched on the market in 2005, achieving a production and sales of more than 10,000 units that year, setting a new record in the history of China's heavy-duty trucks at the time. In 2013, the Shandeka series of products with independent intellectual property rights were officially launched on the market, leading the development of the domestic heavy-duty automobile industry. In 2020, Sinotruk launched a new generation of high-end national brand "Yellow River" heavy-duty trucks to the world, leading China's heavy-duty trucks to become world-class. Sinotruk mainly develops, produces and sells various trucks, special vehicles, special-purpose vehicles, and assemblies and auto parts such as engines, gearboxes, and axles. It owns a full range of commercial vehicle brands such as Yellow River, Shandeka, and Howo. It is one of the heavy-duty truck companies with the most complete drive forms and power coverage in my country's heavy-duty truck industry. It has three listed companies, namely Sinotruk (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd. (Hong Kong red chip company), Sinotruk Group Jinan Truck Co., Ltd. (Shenzhen A-share listed company), and Zhongtong Bus Co., Ltd. (Shenzhen A-share listed company). Its products are exported to more than 110 countries and regions, accounting for half of my country's heavy-duty truck exports.
