Meta Platforms invests in AI humanoid robot technology

Meta Platforms has decided to set up a dedicated team within its Reality Labs division to develop robots that can assist with physical tasks. This move marks Meta's official entry into the field of robotics, joining the competition led by Tesla, Nvidia and others. Meta's emphasis on humanoid robotics technology aims to use its Llama platform to unleash the full capabilities of AI to help handle actual physical tasks.
